Coming to Ecuador? Bring a book for Project DCR..

If your reading this and travelling to Ecuador in the next few months, I´ve come up with an idea that helps the kids involved with Project DCR.

Project DCR works with street kids in Ecuador that are outside of the school system by placing them in the school that they started.  At the moment they are trying to build on their collection of books for the kids.

The idea is for each person who is interested in helping to bring one of their favorite books from childhood for the school.

Take your pick.. Winnie the Pooh, Paddington Bear, Where the Wild Things Are, you name it, they could use it.

If you are interested, email me at Savvytravellerecuador@gmail.com.  I´ll email you with some of the details of the program and Project DCR´s tips for travelling in Ecuador!

And the school also needs other materials as well so if you have a lot of space, like an extra bag, let me know and I´ll get you a list of what would help.
